Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29
The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. I Timothy 1:5
The word learn in the Matthew 11:29 passage is from the greek word "manthano." This is a type of learning that actually emerges as a result of resting in Jesus.
During our course, we desire to provide tools, feedback and opportunities for Jesus followers to become better communicators for our church, and more importantly, for the Kingdom of God.
While this experience takes commitment and heart, we have taken busy schedules and working individuals into consideration. All content is available on-demand digitally to study at your convenience.
How It Works
The course is divided into THREE modules. Each module divides the content into three sections of study.
1PURE HEART
Rather than resting in common practices and routines, great communicators with a PURE HEART desire to be humble, life-long learners.
2GOOD CONSCIENCE
When educating others about the Word of God, using correct context, application, and historical accuracy will allow you to rest in GOOD CONSCIENCE.
3SINCERE FAITH
Gaining a better understanding of yourself, your relationship to Jesus and the mission of The Village demonstrates a SINCERE FAITH in your motive for teaching.
